Meet “No Excuses Noreen.”

She does not make excuses for other people’s bad behavior. A spade is a spade is a spade...and there is no shame in saying it. What she delivers with candor, she matches with strength and hope for the future. She won’t linger in judgement and she believes that most people can find a path to redemption given the right mindset — she’s just not responsible for getting them there. She’s strong. She’s candid. She does not make excuses for other people’s bad behavior.

Meet “Mind Your Biscuits Beatriz.”

She subscribes to the wise words of Kacey Musgraves, “Mind your own biscuits and life will be gravy.” She believes that criticism is worth what it costs the sender to deliver it and that sometimes you just have to roll your eyes and keep walking. You won’t find her sipping chatter at the water cooler but she’ll drop everything to listen to a friend with a problem. She minds her biscuits. Shows up for friends. She rolls her eyes at the haters and moves right along.

Meet Do-it-Yourself Barbie

This is Do-it-Yourself Barbie. She bakes cakes, installs toilets and dyes her own hair. Just the other day she painted a wall in her living room and replaced the handles on her bathroom vanity. She thinks that most things turn out the way they are supposed to. Except maybe her hair. That she cannot fix at home.
