It appears that Benjamin Franklin was wrong. He once said that, “nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” Well...life amidst the coronavirus pandemic has proved that to be false. Schools are closed, grocery stores are limiting purchases as shelves run bare AND our traditional April tax deadline has been moved to July. The world has shifted on its axis.
If you’ve been following for the last week, I have introduced you to a few ladies with moxie + mantra...I was reminded by a sweet friend recently that each lady has a bit of mess too...I was so inspired by her that I decided to tell a bit of the messy side of these ladies too...so....Meet, “I forgot my kid at Kindergarten Kimmy.”
She does not make excuses for other people’s bad behavior. A spade is a spade is a spade...and there is no shame in saying it. What she delivers with candor, she matches with strength and hope for the future. She won’t linger in judgement and she believes that most people can find a path to redemption given the right mindset — she’s just not responsible for getting them there. She’s strong. She’s candid. She does not make excuses for other people’s bad behavior.
