Commissions

Thank you for your interest in a custom piece. I take a limited number of commission works every month, with most works involving a 30 day turn around time. For Christmas delivery, commissions must be placed prior to November 1.

BASE PRICES 2020

Price includes the cost of materials and labor; additional shipping costs will be estimated in advance.

Mixed Media on Paper:

$68 5x7 Watercolor, gouache and pen on paper.

$78 6x8 Watercolor, gouache and pen on paper.

Acrylic on Canvas:

48″x60″ $1,080 (will require crate shipping or local pickup)

Some other sizes may be available. Work requiring custom size canvas may be commissioned at $10 per linear inch.

ARTISTIC SUBJECT

Take a spin around my website. In addition to florals and seascapes, I paint houses, buildings, barns, pets and some human subjects. Keep in mind, my work is colorful. It is whimsical. I’ve tried neutral and it’s just not my jam. If you love something I have created in the past then we can work together to create a custom piece that will be unique to you.

DEPOSIT

A 50% deposit is needed to be added to the waitlist, however the full deposit is refundable at any time. Art is very personal and subjective for both the client(s) and the artist, so in the event that a commissioned artwork is not claimed it will be released to the open market. No harm done. This system has kept everybody happy. For a commission, typically clients will suggest a subject, and palette preferences.

TIMELINE

A timeline will be scheduled in advance with most work completed no longer than 30 days. An initial completion date will be established prior to the time of deposit. Turnaround time does not include time allotted for postal delivery. Rush rates available.

DELIVERY

Collectors within 30 minutes of Ferndale, Washington may request in-person delivery at no additional charge. Any additional postage cost will be added to the final payment invoice.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Original art becomes property of Collector; Artist retains all reproduction rights unless otherwise agreed upon in writing in advance of purchase.
