I keep coming back to shapes in my work... I had a memory last night of an early artwork... it was a Poodle in pencil and I had spent days filling it in with tiny little circles... I carried it around with me everywhere... I remember bringing it with me when I stayed with my grandpa one weekend... I spent the time at his house filling in circles... circles... circles... and when I left my grandpa’s house I somehow left my Poodle drawing... I never finished it and... wow... I still remember it... maybe that’s what all these circles are about??
